With Lakewood becoming one of the fastest growing communities, its chinuch infrastructure isn't capable of absorbing the influx of children. Gedolim and balie batim got together to establish a new cheder for heimish and chassidish kids: Toras Yisroel
The influx of children is great and there is no time to start a school, opening one grade at a time. Toras Yisroel needs to open for all grades, nursery through 9th, in one year! No parent can compromise for their children with an underdeveloped curriculum, a weak staff or a small building, and Toras Yisroel has hired the best melamdim and educators, and is conducting $150,000 worth of construction to make the building big, spacious and comfortable for all talmidim.
As the opening date, August 28th, nears, the administrators are faced with the tremendous financial strain that this project demands. The cheder must raise $300,000 to open its doors to the newly enrolled students. As you prepare your children for a new school year, please take a moment to ensure that the Toras Yisroel parent body can prepare for school as well.
